KIM

KIM joined the Senior classes in Easter 2006 and achieved 100% attendance in her first year - she was a student who rarely if ever did not attend every week and who learned and performed her routines with a quiet confidence going from strength to strength and helping others along the way. Her commitment and determination to succeed was proven in the showcase 'NEW BEGINNING' in 2009 when, suffering with an acute back injury she chose to continue performing in both group and solo routines aided by a bulky back support.

At the beginning of the new season in September 2009 it was decided to give opportunities to those of the senior students who showed interest in helping out in the younger classes and so Kim became one the first STUDENT CHOREOGRAPHERS for DANCING SHOES WREXHAM. Given the new and younger students to work with she introduced them to the basics of dance with patience and understanding, and  bringing them to the understanding and appreciation of the joys and challenges that dance and performance can give.

Kim successfully gained a place on the Btec Performing Arts Course at Yale College - and in 2010 with the departure of Andrew Rawlinson-Heath to further his career into the world Musical Theatre she moved into the position of LEAD CHOREOGRAPHER working primarily with the Senior and Adult students. Her showcase as LEAD was 'MUSICAL MEMORIES' in 2011 where her steady calm pace of working and her original style of choreography set the tone for all the routines.
